New Unpaid Overtime Wages Rounding Lawsuit Filed Against Pratt Industries

What are the Allegations in the Pratt Industries Overtime Case?

Our lawsuit alleges that Pratt requires its hourly production/manufacturing employees to arrive and perform work before the scheduled start of their shifts and continue working after their scheduled end. However, the lawsuit further states that Pratt does not pay these employees for all of this pre- and post-shift work because of the way it rounds these employees’ clock in and clock out times. The lawsuit alleges that Pratt Industries rounded employees’ time punches to reduce their time worked in Pratt’s favor and to its employees’ detriment.

Because of these allegations, the lawsuit states that hourly production/manufacturing employees at Pratt Industries were not fully compensated for all overtime hours that they have worked, the lawsuit alleges that Pratt’s production/manufacturing employees are owed wages. What Can Pratt Industries Employees who Participate in the Lawsuit Receive?

This new lawsuit seeks unpaid overtime wages since February 21, 2022. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, employees who have not been paid all overtime they earned may receive unpaid overtime for the last three years, an equal amount of liquidated damages, attorney’s fees, and costs, among other things. The lawsuit against Pratt Industries was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Western Division at Dayton and is titled Christopher Comperry v. Pratt Industries, Inc., Case No. 3:25-cv-52.
